Rena Bianca

41°14’42.54”N - 9°11’19.53”E

Rena Bianca is a beach at the northeast tip of Sardinia, 300 metres from Santa Teresa di Gallura. The beach is about 700 meters long and is well protected from westerly and easterly winds.

The sand is white, fine, with some pink hues near the shore. The water is shallow near the beach and is always turquoise blue and green. The beach is equipped with parasols, sunloungers and accommodation and catering facilities.

Capo Testa / Santa Reparata Bay

41°14'12.91"N, 09° 9'46.20"E

Capo Testa is a headland west of Santa Teresa di Gallura joined to the mainland by an isthmus that crosses it longitudinally, a tongue of sand that is open to the west and east as the wonderful beaches of Rena di Ponente and Rena di Levante. Capo Testa is famous for its white sandy coves, transparent turquoise waters and the view over the Strait of Bonifacio and to Corsica.

Baia di Santa Reparata is to the east of the Capo Testa headland, well protected from the south and northeast winds. It is not recommended with winds from the est and southwest. The beach is sandy with rocky coves, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. The clear water has hues of green and blue and is the ideal place for scuba-diving. The beach is well equipped, with catering services too.

Porto Liscia / Isola dei Gabbiani

41°11’39.96”N - 9°17’19.46”E

Isola dei Gabbiani lies along the northeast coast of Sardinia, about 6 km from Palau. It stands on an area of about 180,000 m2, surrounded by the sea and joined to the mainland by a long isthmus of sandy land.

Liscia, a beach eight kilometers long and with a surface area of 87 hectares, is the largest beach on the northeast coast. The sand is coarse, of granite origin, and golden in colour. It provides clear water, and sandy, shallow beds. It looks onto the Maddalena and Caprera archipelagos and the islands of Spargi, Spargiotto, Santo Stefano and Budelli. It has several bathing and catering facilities. It is ideal for windsurfing due to the excellent exposure to northerly, mistral and westerly winds.
