After Capo Comino we enter the majestic Gulf of Orosei. The Gulf is divided into two morphologically different zones. The northern part, low on the sea, consists of pine forests, with long sandy beaches and coastal dunes that reach up to its northern edge Punta Nera, while the southern part is formed by the terminal plateau of Supramonte, and extends until Capo di Monte Santu.
Characterized by high limestone cliffs overhanging including the second highest in Europe (Porta Plumare 412 m). The deepest gorge in Europe named "Gorroppu", is characterized by karst caves, lava flows and the chasms of ancient volcanoes, all providing an environment to discover. Continuing along the bay, to the south, we find beautiful coves: in succession, Cala Luna, Cala Sisine and Cala Goloritzé.
